Bright Wellness Society is a not-for-profit non-governmental organization based in Agra, UP. Our organization also works in districts- (Hapud, Mathura, Aligarh, Hathras, Firozabad and Mainpuri). It was established in 2005 under society registration act 1860 with the vision to Welfare and development of women, youth and children at the lowest rung of socio-economic ladder of the society, is the main objective of our organization. Our approach is the cross fertilization of ideas among grass root Programmes through both technical assistance and a continuing learning processes. Except all these we want to develop the sense of brotherhood in the society.

Society formed by concerned experienced and dedicated peoples who have well experience to the health and social sector, with the objective of working on developmental issues of our society, with a particular focus on health and environment. Bright Wellness Societyis focused on various social issues, especially on environment and environment related issues, pollution, community empowerment, education, health care, income generation and other social issues.

Volunteer and members have a high degree of freedom in these activities, including identification of problem, preparation of action plan, and implementation of the action in form of work, help, support or guidance to the target area or group.

Bright Wellness Societyinitiated its activities by conducting various Vocational courses on different trades, Plantation drive, workshops on environment and global warming, awareness camps, Health camps and Free Medical Services including free distribution of medicines in various slums of Agra with the help of team of doctors. Subsequently Bright Wellness Societyhas been implementing vocational training courses for poor and marginalized community under Income Generation programme, plantation drive and workshops on environment and pollution issue in Agra. It seeks to empower and enhance the overall status of adolescent girls and young unemployed people. The Programme objective is to impart vocational skills through learning different modern skills. Like Sewing Weaving, Computer Training, food procession, leather woods, crafts, soft toys, dari and carpets, Marble works and stitching work.

There are challenges galore – like poverty, global warming, illiteracy, gender discrimination etc. Conquering the enormous needs of this society and the limited resources available, we do realize the enormity of the task we need to undertake. Bright Wellness Societywishes to creatively and efficiently utilize, resources and opportunities that exist within the community. We want to give the support of interested volunteers, and work jointly with other organizations, companies, and the government, in fulfilling this task. Devoted Members of the society have the zeal to work for society on various social, health environmental and other issues. Their Enthusiasm and dedication towards their responsibilities is shown by their energetic approach towards the social work for the benefit of the society. We have an energetic team of members, having equal rights and responsibilities. Our Dedicated and likeminded Individual efforts and our Fiery and non-violent Team efforts along with proper structured plans and well defined goals that will lead us bring about a revolution engulfing the whole society with Unity and a bright future.

Organization mission to integrate the marginalized section of the society enhance their capacities which will be about a change in social system and attach people with the long term development process, resulting in enhancement in people has self respect, self confidence, self dependent and ability to take decisions.

• Toensure full participation of community from vulnerable section in all our programmes.

• Addressing immediate community needs of livelihood, unemployment, illiteracy and survival through community participation.
• Our strategies will be people participation based intervention in which we will organize training programmes, workshop with in an aim to contribute towards social change.
• We believe that the basic needs and right of a human synonymous, every human needs and thereby has the right to adequate food, clothing, shelter, education, health, protection, care and development.
• Establish functional linkage and networking among civil society’s organization, like minded organizations and important actors for public advocacy.

Our expectations and achievements

Community participation insures sustainability of any programs through proper awareness, motivation, and involvement. Community would get aware to protect themselves from disease & other problems through this Programme. The community will have to maintain all the natural resources to sustain this process. Community will insure their healthy life, change in their attitude, and sanitation, hygiene condition through implementation of our various programs. Community facilitates safe water and health facilities at local level in their area by insuring government attention for their development.
